Pamphlet of Revolution

Language is catalytic. It holds the power of life or death, calming storms or causing them, moving mountains or staying cowardly silent. When language is given to a group of people or a generation, history has shown that the people rally behind the language and it inspires, emboldens, and empowers each individual. No matter how many people are a part of something, language gives each individual a sense of ownership and confidence in that which they are a part. There is no getting lost in the crowd, and you become a part of something greater than yourself and yet feel the encouragement to recognize that each individual carries something that is essential. Jesus gave language to all of humanity in response to the Father, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during the Civil Rights Movement, Moses during the deliverance of Israel from Egypt, and Thomas Paine during the preceding years to the American Revolutionary War.

Thomas Paine was a revolutionary who believed that something catalytic must take place for the American people to unite against the British in their efforts to become a free nation. He wrote a pamphlet called "Common Sense" in which he detailed the discontentment within every American and rallied the people, through given language, to gather and believe that revolution was the only possible action worth taking. The pamphlet is to this day looked back upon by historians as one of the main reasons that the Revolutionary war effort was so powerful from the beginning. For most people, that is all they know about Thomas Paine yet the story after "Common Sense" is much more important than even the pamphlet itself. Shortly after the Revolution began, the acclaimed Father of the Revolution, Paine, moved to France to take a role in government as well as learn about something new to the world called the Enlightenment. Paine spent 10 years in France before returning to the United States with new perspectives and ideas motivated by deism, the doctrinal belief in a distant indifferent God specifically denying Scripture and Jesus. The popular pamphleteer then wrote "The Age of Reason" explaining and giving language to the falsehoods in popular religion as well as charging the American people to follow the lead of France into the 'greater enlightenment.' The pamphlet swept across the universities of America and changed a generation. Little did the youth on campus know that the ideas of French Enlightenment were leading a nation into mass bloodshed and death. On Yale's campus in New Haven, Connecticut, by the end of the school year there were three Thomas Paine clubs promoting these ideas. Today, the education system of America is filled with Paine's thoughts of reason and rationalism on the foundation of the denial of Jesus' divinity and the nature of man. Simple words with profound implications for centuries.

God is raising up revivalist and reformers in our generation that are filled with a love stronger than death for Jesus. There is a discontentment between where we know we can be and where we are as the Western Church, and Jesus is not overlooking His Western Bride. "The Age of Reason" is filled with language of an antichrist spirit, denying Jesus and the true knowledge of God. The Lord loves this nation, and will receive His inheritance from it. I believe that God is releasing the language that is going to catalyze a generation to pursue God with reckless abandon and see a generation brought into the Kingdom of God in a way that the world has never known. The time for revolution is upon us. We are the ones that are able to believe that our God is the Mighty One of Jacob who answers with fire from Heaven. He is doing it across the nation, and we are able to come together in one accord around the glory of Jesus with the language of love and lives laid down for our King. The language isn't 'Christianeze' or 'Charismania', but it is pure, simple, and authentic from the hearts of believers longing to see the glory of God revealed on every campus in America. The name is not important, the organization doesn't matter, and the Kingdom of God is not a movement. Jesus is common sense, and His response to fallen humanity has already been declared on the Cross. Daniel was ten times wiser than anyone in his generation in Babylon because he knew his God. This is not a call for a mass exodus, or violence of any kind. This is a revolution of love that believes that Jesus is worthy of everything within each of His image bearers and we will see "kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom of our God and His Christ." We must be the ones who blast the trumpet, young and old, every background, every ethnicity, we "are all one in Christ" as a family knowing that His Presence is enough!

You are a representative of the greatest revolution of history. People that were once dead are now alive. The restoration of the knowledge of the One and Only true God. The time is now. Revolution is upon us. Young Paul Reveres with the fire of love in our lamps are going forth declaring "He is coming! Jesus is coming!"
